Tempe, Arizona is a Fun Area

Considering living in Phoenix, Arizona? How about those smaller sized outlying communities in Arizona, such as San Tan Valley, Maricopa, or Cavern Creek?

Well, I'm here to help you comprise your mind!

Nearly five years back, I made one of the more extreme relocations when I picked up and left Rhode Island, my birthplace and home for 33 years, and decided to "go west". I wound up in Tempe, Arizona.

Initially there was quite a culture shock, and homesickness, naturally. I won't lie or extend the fact here ... It was quite hard to make that move and for a couple of weeks after getting here, I questioned my choice.

Things finally cooled down and came together, as they frequently do, and I found a good task in Scottsdale, Arizona, got myself an automobile, and started to truly take pleasure in residing in the Phoenix-metro area of Arizona.

Now, I know what you might have heard, specifically if you are living in one of those states that has all 4 seasons. You have actually heard it's extremely hot in the summer, unbearable practically. Well, the truth is, it's quite darn hot. BUT, and this is a big "BUT", it IS a dry heat! As cliche as it sounds, it's true. That being stated, you actually should have air conditioning and/or a pool (which most folks do) to live comfortably through the hot Arizona summer season.

The great feature of residing in Phoenix, Arizona, is that the real heat only lasts about four and a half months, and after that the environment settles into a "paradise-like" winter season, and that weather condition can not be beat! It's absolutely stunning!

Now that we've gotten the weather condition out of the way, let's talk about the economy a little.

Honestly, the economy in Arizona seems to be on a sluggish rebound. There appears to be great deals of tasks in different fields offered, and I'm believing it's on the growth. However, there are obstacles here similar to every state. As for the cost of living in Arizona, the majority of the research I've done has it just a little bit higher than the United States average. I think that may be since of greater energy costs during the summer season.

How about activities in Arizona? Well, if you love hiking, outdoor camping, fishing, mountain biking, swimming, and even snowboarding, then you'll like Arizona!

When most folks believe Arizona, they think barren desert and no water. That declaration could not be more misdirected. In truth, Arizona boasts more than 120 lakes (along with many man made ponds), comprising of roughly 16,000 acres. Arizona is growing rapidly as a growing number of young couples flock to Arizona every year to construct their "American dream". Retired people have also followed suit, finding budget friendly homes, acceptable weather, and plentiful golf courses really luring.

If skiing is your thing, you can constantly travel up north to Flagstaff and ski Snowbowl, where you can ride any of 6 ski lifts to the top of some 40 snowboarding trails. You can delight in snowboarding in Arizona from mid-December to mid-April.

Arizona might be right for you if you are like me and are obsessed with largemouth bass fishing. Some of the very best freshwater fishing can be found here within an hours drive from Phoenix. Lakes Pleasant, Roosevelt, Apache, Canyon, and Saguaro are well known for supplying anglers with an abundance of lunker sized bass! It is very important to discuss that there are numerous other activities to enjoy at the lakes, such as camping, swimming, hiking, and boating.

Phoenix has top notch sports groups in simply about every professional sport if sports is your thing. Most sports fans have heard of the Cardinals, Suns, Diamondback and Coyotes. As for college sports, all one has to do is check out Arizona State University in Tempe to find those!

Arizona's night life is also wonderful, with Scottsdale hosting a fantastic night club scene. Tempe's hotels tempe az mills Mill Avenue District and Tempe Market are also hot spots, boasting a few of the very best sports bars and restaurants in central Arizona.

The bottom line is that moving to Arizona was probably one of the best choices I've ever made. Sure, it's hot in the summer, however that's a small price to pay to delight in all of the fantastic activities and beautiful weather that have made Arizona among the fastest growing states in America!

As you can see, there is something for everyone right here in Arizona. So, if you were on the fence about residing in Phoenix, Arizona, and you just weren't sure about moving, this post needs to help you fall off the right way. Ideally, when you land you'll be basing on Arizona soil!
